The price is based on 35 paying travelers and 6 free chaperones. For smaller independent groups we will adjust the price. The ratio for free chaperones stays 1/6. The lowest number of paying participants for an independent group is 10.
MADRID, TOLEDO, BARCELONA, SITGES
Day-1. DEPARTURE CITY – MADRID: Overnight flight to Madrid.
Day-2. MADRID: Arrive in Madrid and transfer to your hotel. After a short break, join your Tour Director for a guided walking tour along Gran Via, Puerta del Sol, and Opera.
Day-3. MADRID: Start with a guided city tour. See/Visit: Retiro Park, Puerta del Sol, kilometer zero from which all of Spain’s road distances are measured, the Opera, Plaza Mayor, Plaza de la Villa, Basilica de San Miguel, Capilla del Obispo, and more. Have a guided tour of Palacio Real (Royal Palace). In the afternoon join your tour director on a walking tour along Gran Via, the main artery of Madrid.
Day-4. MADRID: On a guided tour visit the Prado Museum and Reina Sofia Museum. El Prado is considered to be one of the best art galleries in the world. It houses over 2000 paintings by the best European painters such as Rubens, Rembrandt, Goya, Velasquez, El Greco, Bosch, Vermeer, Miro, and more. Continue to the Reina Sofia Museum of Contemporary Arts. Admire La Guernica by Picasso and many other masterpieces.
Day-5. MADRID – TOLEDO: In the morning board your bus to go to Toledo. On a guided tour walk through the city that is famous for its medieval walls and fine tempered steel production. See: El Greco House, The Cathedral, Alcazar, Synagog de Santa Maria la Blanca, Puente del Alcantar, and Santo Tome Church. Go back to Madrid and enjoy a free afternoon.
Day-6. MADRID – BARCELONA: Early in the morning depart to Barcelona by fast train. After arriving in Barcelona start your guided tour of this capital of Catalonia. See its landmarks: Gothic Quarter, the Cathedral, Plaza de Rei, Ribera Quarter, the Church of the Sacred Family by Gaudi, and the Columbus Lookout, a 50-meter iron column supporting a statue of the discoverer of America. Continue to Sitges and your beach hotel.
Day-7. BARCELONA – SITGES: A free day in Sitges to enjoy the beach or go back to Barcelona by commuter train to explore some more. Visit the Picasso Museum or one of the Gaudi houses (optional).
Day-8. BARCELONA – DEPARTURE: Transfer to the airport for your flight home.

STUDENT SURCHARGE:

PAYMENT POLICY:
A down payment of $300.00 for the tours in 2023 is due before July 31st, 2022, and for the trips in 2024 before July 31st, 2023.

The number of participants, the ratio, and the price can be changed according to request.
INSURANCE – optional.
Includes trip cancellation, lost baggage, trip interruption, and medical insurance. It will be added to your first payment.
