The price is based on 35 paying travelers and 6 free chaperones. For smaller independent groups we will adjust the price. The ratio for free chaperones stays 1/6. The lowest number of paying participants for an independent group is 10.
ROME, SORRENTO, CAPRI, POMPEII, NAPLES, VATICAN, ROME
Day-1. DEPARTURE CITY – ROME: Overnight flight to Rome.
Day-2. ROME – SORRENTO: Arrive in Rome and board your bus for a ride through the Province of Lazio. Travel along Strada del Sole to Sorrento. Check into your hotel and go for a walking tour of Sorrento with your tour director.
Day-3. SORRENTO – CAPRI: A whole day excursion to the Island of Capri. Visit the Clock Tower, the Perfume Factory, and then to Via Tragara. You will also see Faraglioni, one of the oldest Lighthouses dated from ancient Greek time. Late return to Sorrento.
Day-4. SORRENTO – POMPEII – NAPLES – ROME: Take a short ride to Ancient Pompeii. During a guided tour explore this once prosperous city, which was buried after the huge eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 76 AD. Continue to Rome. On your way stop in Naples to see the Naples Archeological Museum containing Roman artifacts from Pompeii, Stabiae, and Herculaneum. The collection includes works of the highest quality produced in Greek, Roman, and Renaissance times. End your day in Rome.
Day-5. ROME: Guided city tour of Ancient Rome led by a local English-speaking guide. See the Arch of Titus, the Arch of Constantine, Forum Romanum, Trajan’s Forum, the Campidoglio, Victor Emmanuel Monument, and more. Also, visit the Colosseum, the largest ancient amphitheater ever built. It was built from 72 AD to 80 AD under 3 Roman emperors Vespasian, Titus, and Domitian known as Flavian Dynasty. So it was called Flavian Amphitheater. On its hay day, it could have up to 80 000 spectators. It was used to entertain everybody with gladiator fights and more. Panem at circenses is still a popular saying. Earthquakes, stone robbers, and time ruined it but it is still the most popular tourist attraction in Rome. Free afternoon.
Day-6. ROME: Join your tour director on a guided visit to the Capitoline Museums. The famous statue of She Wolf feeding Romulus and Remus is exhibited there with many more beautiful artifacts. Free afternoon.
Day-7. ROME – VATICAN: Visit the State of Vatican. Start the guided tour with a visit to the Vatican Museum. Continue to the Sistine Chapel with the ceiling painted by Michelangelo and go on to St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest Catholic church in the world. Admire Michelangelo’s masterpiece La Pieta, Glory by Bernini, and more. Also, visit the Catacombs of St. Peter’s Church.
Day-8. ROME: Start the day with the Baroque Rome tour led by your Tour Director. See Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Pinzio Hill, and the Spanish Steps. Visit the church of San Pietro in Vincoli and admire the statue of Moses, a masterpiece sculpted by Michelangelo. Some free time in the evening.
Day-9. DEPARTURE: Transfer to the airport for your return flight.

PAYMENT POLICY:
A down payment of $300.00 for the tours in 2023 is due before July 31st, 2022, and for the trips in 2024 before July 31st, 2023.
Up to 10 payments per request.
The down payment is not refundable.
The number of participants, the ratio, and the price can be changed according to request.
INSURANCE – optional.
Includes trip cancellation, lost baggage, trip interruption, and medical insurance. It will be added to your first payment.

Adults based on age.
If your group or any individuals from your group do not accept this insurance, the group leader must inform E&L GROUP TOURS USA in writing.
All individuals traveling with E&L GROUP TOURS USA must show proof of valid travel insurance.

Gratuities optional – suggested $2.5 per day per person for the tour director and $5.00 per person per day for the local tour guide.
