PARIS, VERSAILLES, LONDON, WINDSOR
Day-1. DEPARTURE CITY – PARIS: Overnight flight to Paris.
Day-2. PARIS: Arrive in Paris in the morning. Board your bus at the airport and go on for a guided city tour of this cosmopolitan city. See: Eiffel Tower, Opéra Garnier, Place de la Concorde, Place de la Bastille, Place de la République, the Obelisk, Champs Élysées, Ècole Militaire, Tuileries Gardens, Les Invalides, Latin Quarter and Jardin de Luxembourg. At the end of the city tour arrive at your centrally located hotel and check-in. In the evening join your tour director on a walking tour to Basilica Sacrè-Coeur and the artistic Montmartre.
Day-3. PARIS – LOUVRE: Walk to Louvre for a guided tour. The professional guide from the museum will show you the most important artifacts and tell you about the history of the museum and the history of art. Explore the wonderful collection of sculptures and paintings including Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, Venus de Milo, Nike the Winged Victory of Samothrace, and more. Proceed to Île de la Cité and see the Notre Dame Cathedral. The rest of the day is free to visit the other attractions of Paris like the Seine Book Market or to explore French fashion at Galleries Lafayette and Printemps. In the evening, take the elevator to the highest point of the Eiffel Tower for a great view over “The City of Lights.”
Day-4. PARIS – VERSAILLES: Take a local train to Versailles. On a guided tour visit this lavish palace built by Louis the XIV. Visit the Royal Chambers, Hall of the Mirrors, Drawing Rooms, Royal Chapel, and more. Walk in the magnificent gardens just like Marie Antoinette used to do. In the evening walk to Pont d’Alma and board Bateaux Mouches for a cruise on the Seine.
Day-5. LONDON: Transfer to the train station and board the Channel Train for a tunnel train ride to London. Upon arrival, start with a guided city tour. See London’s famous landmarks: the Buckingham Palace where Queen Elizabeth lives, 10 Downing Street where the Prime Minister of UK lives and works, Trafalgar Square, Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament as well as the Clock Tower or Big Ben one of London’s best-known landmarks. Check into your hotel. In the evening, join your tour director on a walking tour.
Day-6. LONDON: Continue exploring London. Visit the British Museum and have a guided tour to see the most important artifacts of this enormous place. Established in 1753 it is dedicated to human history, art and culture. Its permanent collection consists of about 8 million works. Walk on to see Tower Bridge and then visit the Tower of London where the Crown Jewels are kept. In the afternoon, go for a ride on the London Eye and enjoy the beautiful view of London.
Day-7. LONDON – WINDSOR CASTLE: Visit Windsor Castle, the largest inhabited castle in the world and the oldest in continuous occupation. It is one of the principal official residences of the British Monarch. Queen Elizabeth II spends many weekends at the castle using it for both state and private entertaining. On a guided tour visit the magnificent State Apartments furnished with treasures from the Royal Collection, St. George’s Chapel, and Queen Mary’s Dolls House. Free afternoon.
Day-8. DEPARTURE: Transfer to the airport for your flight home.

ADD A DAY: Add one day in Paris. Take a guided bus tour to Château de Malmaison. The palace has been home to Josephine Bonaparte, the Empress of France. She lived there, on and off, for 15 years. The Château is beautifully restored and shows Napoleon’s rooms as well as Josephine’s rooms. The second floor shows a collection of the Empress’s wardrobe and many household things. Her coronation dress is there as well. The intimacy of the museum is extraordinary. It is about 15 km from Paris. The afternoon is free for some shopping and wandering around Paris by yourselves. $ 270.00

Includes trip cancellation, lost baggage, trip interruption, and medical insurance. It will be added to your first payment.
