The price is based on 30 paying travelers and 5 free chaperones. For smaller independent groups we will adjust the price. The ratio for free chaperones stays at 1/6. The lowest number of paying participants for an independent group is 10.

PARIS, BARCELONA, MADRID, SEVILLE, ALHAMBRA, TORREMOLINOS, GIBRALTAR, MALAGA

Day-1. DEPARTURE CITY – PARIS: Overnight flight to Paris.

Day-2. PARIS: Start with a guided city tour of Paris. See: the Eiffel Tower, Old Opera, Place de la Concorde, Bastille, Place de la République, the Obelisk, Notre Dame Cathedral, Champs-Élysées, École Militaire, Tuileries Gardens, and more. Join your tour director on a walking tour to Basilica Sacré-Coeur and through the narrow streets of Montmartre, full of young artists, souvenir shops, and Parisian crepe food outlets.

Day-3. VERSAILLES: In the morning take a short ride by the local train to the charming town of Versailles to visit the lavish palace of Louis the XIV, the Sun King. On a guided tour visit the Royal Chambers, Hall of Mirrors, Drawing Rooms, Royal Chapel, and more. Some free time in the town before returning to Paris. Back in Paris walk to Pont de I’Alma where you will board Bateaux Mouches for an exciting cruise on the river Seine. The Rest of the day is free. You might visit Galleries Lafayette and Printemps, a shopping paradise of Paris, or enjoy sampling coffee in a typical coffee shop. At the end of the day take the elevator to the highest level of the Eiffel Tower with a view of the “City of Lights”.

Day-4. LOUVREOn a guided walking tour explore Île de la Cité. It was here that the Parisii tribe lived, the Romans set up camp, where the Norman invasions subjected Paris, and where majestic Notre Dame greets the visitors. See Notre Dame, Pont Neuf, Place Dauphine, and the Conciergerie, the prison where Marie Antoinette was imprisoned. Then go for a guided tour of the Louvre, the museum with a large collection of sculptures and paintings, including a smiling Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, Venus de Milo, the Winged Victory of Samothrace, and much more. Free afternoon.

Day-5. PARIS – TRAIN TO BARCELONA: Board your early morning train to Barcelona. After arrival start with your guided city tour of the capital of Catalonia. See its landmarks: Gothic Quarter, Gaudi Village, the Cathedral, Plaza de Rei, Ribera Quarter, the Church of the Sacred Family, and the Columbus Lookout, a 50-meter iron column supporting a statue of the discoverer of America. Check into your hotel. Free evening.

Day-6. BARCELONA – TRAIN TO MADRID: Spend the morning exploring Barcelona on your own. Board your afternoon train to Madrid. After arrival go for a walking tour with your tour director. Do some shopping along Grand Via or explore Plaza Mayor or Plaza del Sol.

Day-7. MADRID: Start with a guided city tour of Madrid. See/Visit: Retiro Park, Puerta del Sol- Gateway to the Sun which is the kilometer zero from which all the country’s road distances are measured, the Opera and the beautiful parks and plazas. Continue on to Plaza de la Villa, Basilica de San Miguel, Capilla del Obispo, and more. Have a guided tour of Palacio Real (Royal Palace). Continue to the Prado Museum and on a guided tour see the masterpieces by Velasquez, Goya, Murillo, Ribera as well as Flemish and Italian art. It is one of the best museums in the world.

Day-8. MADRID – TOLEDO – MADRID: Enjoy a morning guided bus tour to Toledo. The city is surrounded by medieval walls and is famous for its fine Damascus tempered steel and sword production. El Greco lived there and you will visit El Greco House and the Cathedral with more El Greco paintings in one of the chapels. See the main sites such as Alcazar, Synagog de Santa Maria la Blanca, Puente del Alcantar, and the magic view of the walled city from the other bank of the river Tagus. Return to Madrid and have a free afternoon.

Day-9. MADRID – SEGOVIA – EL ESCORIAL: Start with the bus excursion to Segovia. Visit the beautiful Segovia Castle and admire the aqueduct. Spend some time at the main square and try the excellent cafe con leche. Visit the Cathedral. Continue to El Escorial, the monastery where the famous Philip II lived toward the end of his life and died, and where the Spanish kings are buried even today. Go on to Vale de Los Caidos, the biggest Catholic church ever. Late evening return to Madrid.

 Day-10. MADRID – TRAIN TO SEVILLE: Morning guided visit to the Prado Museum, a Neo-Gothic building from the 18th century with masterpieces by Velasquez, Goya, Murillo, Ribera as well as Flemish and Italian art. In the afternoon board your superfast train from Madrid to Seville.

Day-11. SEVILLE: Start with the guided city tour of this magnificent place. Throughout history, Seville was an important port. It was from Seville that Ferdinand Magellan obtained ships for his circumnavigation of the World. Much of the Spanish Empire’s silver from the New World came to Spain through Seville. Visit the Cathedral with the famous La Giralda, the Royal Castle – Alcazar, and walk through the Jewish Quarter. Free time in the afternoon.

Day-12SEVILLE – GRANADA – ALHAMBRA – TORREMOLINOS: Drive through the Sierra Nevada to reach Granada and start with a guided tour of the Alhambra Palace. The Palace is the most beautiful monument of Moorish Style in Europe. It was home to the Moorish Kings of Granada. Small, intimate, and exquisite it is a jewel on its own. Continue to Torremolinos.

Day-13. TORREMOLINOS – GIBRALTAR: Travel by your bus along the Costa del Sol to Gibraltar. Have a guided tour which includes: St. Michael’s Caves, the Apes Den, Moorish Castle, and the Garrison Chapel.

Day-14. TORREMOLINOS: Enjoy a relaxing day on the beach at this tourist resort in southern Spain. It is situated in the foothills of the Sierra Mijas and has over 320 sunny days a year. Spend your day swimming in the Mediterranean Sea or at the swimming pool at your beachside hotel. Go for some shopping in the village.

Day-15. MALAGA – DEPARTURE: Transfer to the airport in Malaga for your return flight.

PAYMENT POLICY:

A down payment of $300.00 for the tours in 2024 is due before July 31st, 2023, and for the trips in 2025 before July 31st, 2024.

Up to 10 payments per request.

The down payment is not refundable.

The number of participants, the ratio, and the price can be changed according to request.

Includes trip cancellation, lost baggage, trip interruption, and medical insurance. It will be added to your first payment.

If your group or any individuals from your group do not accept this insurance, the group leader must inform E&L GROUP TOURS USA in writing.

All individuals traveling with E&L GROUP TOURS USA must show proof of valid travel insurance.
