The price is based on 35 paying travelers and 6 free chaperones. For smaller independent groups we will adjust the price. The ratio for free chaperones stays 1/6. The lowest number of paying participants for an independent group is 10.
SHANGHAI, XIAN, BEIJING
Day-1. DEPARTURE CITY – SHANGHAI: Flight to Shanghai.
Day-2. SHANGHAI: Arrive in Shanghai and transfer to your five-star hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day-3. SHANGHAI: On a guided tour, visit the French Concession the part of the city built the French style. Go on to the People’s Square and visit the Shanghai Museum. The People’s Square is the main square of Shanghai and many important buildings are situated there like Shanghai Grand Theater, Shanghai Municipal Government Office Building, and Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center. Visit the Jade Buddha Temple, which is one of the famous Buddhist Temples in Shanghai.
Day-4. SHANGHAI – XIAN: Go on a morning guided bus tour to the Bund, the waterfront of Shanghai. There you will find the Shanghai of today, yesterday, and tomorrow. Continue to Yu Garden, a classical Chinese garden that is over 400 years old. It is situated in the old town area of Shanghai where you may have a glimpse of ancient Shanghai. In the afternoon, transfer to the railway station and take the high-speed train (G1932) to Xi’an.
Day-5. XIAN: On a guided tour visit the incredible Terra-cotta Warriors, life-size soldiers sculpted from real-life models. Qin Shi, the first emperor of China, ordered the clay warriors in 210-209 BC. The site is considered to be one of the most famous archaeological finds of the 20th century. Continue to the City Walls and the Bell Tower with its traditional Chinese architectural features.
Day-6. XIAN – BEIJING: Early morning transfer to the railway station to board a speedy train to Beijing. After arrival, on a guided tour visit the Temple of Heaven, where the emperors went to pray for the realm’s good harvests. Go on to your hotel for the overnight.
Day-7. BEIJING: After breakfast, on a guided tour visit to the Tian An Men Square, and then enter the imperial-red walls of the ornate Forbidden City, the emperor’s palace off-limits to commoners for centuries. Continue to visit a Hutong, the part of the city with old houses, alleys, bridges over canals and get the taste of ancient Beijing.
Day-8. BEIJING: Enjoy your full-day guided excursion to the ancient Great Wall, originally built as a protection from the Huns and other wild tribes attacking the empire and never completely fulfilling its purpose. Have lunch at a local restaurant. Continue and visit the famous Ming Tombs. Return to Beijing.
Day-9. DEPARTURE: Transfer to the airport for your flight home.

PAYMENT POLICY:
A down payment of $300.00 for the tours in 2023 is due before July 31st, 2022, and for the trips in 2024 before July 31st, 2023.

The number of participants, the ratio, and the price can be changed according to request.
INSURANCE – optional.
Includes trip cancellation, lost baggage, trip interruption, and medical insurance. It will be added to your first payment.
