The price is based on 30 paying travelers and 5 free chaperones. For smaller independent groups we will adjust the price. The ratio for free chaperones stays at 1/6. The lowest number of paying participants for an independent group is 10.



LONDON, WINDSOR, PARIS, VERSAILLES, ROME, VATICAN

 Day-1. DEPARTURE CITY- LONDON: Overnight flight to London.

 Day-2. LONDON: Arrive in London in the morning. Board your bus at the airport and go on a guided city tour of this cosmopolitan city. See London’s famous landmarks: Buckingham Palace where Queen Elizabeth lives, 10 Downing Street where the Prime Minister of the UK lives and works, Trafalgar Square, Westminster Abbey, and the Houses of Parliament as well as the Clock Tower or Big Ben one of London’s best-known landmarks. Check into your hotel. In the evening, join your tour director on a walking tour.

 Day-3. LONDON: Continue exploring London. First, visit the British Museum for a guided tour. Established in 1753 it is dedicated to human history, art, and culture. Its permanent collection consists of about 8 million works. Walk on to see Tower Bridge and then visit the Tower of London where the Crown Jewels are kept. In the afternoon, go for a ride on the London Eye and enjoy the beautiful view of London.

Day-4. LONDON – WINDSOR CASTLE: Go for a guided visit to Windsor Castle the largest inhabited castle in the world and the oldest in continuous occupation. It is one of the principal official residences of the British Monarch. Queen Elizabeth II spends many weekends at the castle using it for both state and private entertaining. See the magnificent State Apartments furnished with treasures from the Royal Collection, St. George’s Chapel, and Queen Mary’s Doll’s House. Free afternoon.

Day-5. LONDON – PARIS: Transfer to the train station and board the Channel Train for a tunnel train ride to Paris. Upon arrival, start with a guided city tour. See: Eiffel Tower, Opéra Garnier, Place de la Concorde, Place de la Bastille, Place de la République, the Obelisk, Champs Élysées, Ecole Militaire, Tuileries Gardens, Les Invalides, Latin Quarter and Jardin de Luxembourg. At the end of the city tour arrive at your centrally located hotel and check in. In the evening, take the elevator to the highest platform of the Eiffel Tower for a great view over “The City of Lights.”

Day-6. PARIS – VERSAILLES: Take a local train to Versailles to visit the lavish palace built by Louis XIV. On a guided tour visit the Royal Chambers, Hall of the Mirrors, Drawing Rooms, Royal Chapel, and more. Walk in the magnificent gardens just like Marie Antoinette used to do. In the evening walk to Pont d’Alma and board Bateaux Mouches for a cruise on the Seine.

Day-7. PARIS – LOUVRE – ROME: Walk to Louvre for a guided tour. The professional guide from the museum will show you the most important artifacts and tell you about the history of the museum and the history of art. Explore the wonderful collection of sculptures and paintings including Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, Venus de Milo, Nike the Winged Victory of Samothrace, and more. Proceed to Ile de la Cité and see the Notre Dame Cathedral. In the evening board a sleeper train to Rome.

Day-8. ROME: Arrive in Rome in the morning. Transfer to your centrally located hotel and go for a walking city tour of Ancient Rome. Visit the remains of the Roman civilization from the founding of the city of Rome in the 8th century BC to the collapse of the Western Roman Empire in the 5th century AD. Walk through Colosseum and imagine how it must have looked when the games were going on. Go on to Forum Romanum where there is the spot where Julius Ceasar was cremated. On the Eades of March, every year someone still puts flowers on it. Also see the Arch of Constantine, Titus Arch, and more. Admire the Victor Emanuel Monument celebrating the unity of Italy in the modern-day. Free afternoon for exploring on your own and shopping.

Day- 9. ROME – VATICAN: Take the metro for a guided visit to the Vatican Museum, one of the best museums in the world. End the visit in the Sistine Chapel. It is the seat of the Conclave where the Popes are elected. View the magnificent ceilings painted by Michelangelo. Continue to St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest Catholic Church in the world. Admire another of Michelangelo’s masterpieces, the sculpture of La Pieta. Then visit the Catacombs of St.Peter’s Basilica housing tombs of several late Popes. Walk on to see the sites of Baroque Rome: Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, Pinzio Hill, Piazza del Popolo, and more. Visit Pantheon, one of the best-preserved of all Ancient Roman buildings. The Pantheon’s large circular dome was unique in Roman architecture and has been copied many times by architects later on. In the evening some free time around the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps where you can try the best Italian gelato.

Day-10. DEPARTURE: Transfer to the airport for your flight home.

PAYMENT POLICY:

A down payment of $300.00 for the tours in 2024 is due before July 31st, 2023, and for the trips in 2025 before July 31st, 2024.

Up to 10 payments per request.

The down payment is not refundable.

The number of participants, the ratio, and the price can be changed according to request.

 

INSURANCE – optional.
Includes trip cancellation, lost baggage, trip interruption, and medical insurance. It will be added to your first payment.
Price for students to be calculated.
Adults based on age.

If your group or any individuals from your group do not accept this insurance, the group leader must inform E&L GROUP TOURS USA in writing.

All individuals traveling with E&L GROUP TOURS USA must show proof of valid travel insurance.
