Day-1. DEPARTURE CITY – MADRID: Overnight flight to Europe.

Day-2. MADRID: Arrive in Madrid and continue with a short bus ride to your hotel. Go for a walking tour with your tour director. Visit Plaza Mayor, walk along Gran Via, and admire Puerta del Sol.

Day-3. MADRID: Start with a guided city tour. See/Visit: Retiro Park, Puerta del Sol- Gateway to the Sun the kilometer zero from which all the country’s road distances are measured, Puerta de Alcala, Almudena Cathedral, and the beautiful parks and plazas. Go on a guided tour of Palacio Real – the Royal Palace. Free afternoon for some exploring and shopping on your own.

Day-4. MADRID – TOLEDO – MADRID: In the morning board your bus for a guided tour to Toledo. The city is surrounded by medieval walls and is famous for its fine Damascus tempered steel and sword production. El Greco, a famous painter lived there. Visit El Greco House and the Cathedral with many El Greco paintings. See the main sites such as Alcazar, Synagog de Santa Maria la Blanca, Puente del Alcantar, and the magic view of the walled city from the other bank of the river Tagus. Return to Madrid.

Day-5. MADRID – SEVILLE: Morning guided visit to the Prado Museum, a Neo-Gothic building from the 18th century with masterpieces by Velasquez, Goya, Murillo, Ribera as well as Flemish and Italian art. It is one of the best-known museums in the world. In the afternoon board your superfast train to Seville.

Day-6. SEVILLE: Start with the guided city tour of this magnificent place that used to be a very important port. It was from Seville that Ferdinand Magellan started the trip to circumnavigate the World. Much of the Spanish Empire’s silver from the New World came to Spain through Seville. Visit the Cathedral with the famous La Giralda, the Royal Castle – Alcazar, and walk through the Jewish Quarter. Free time.

Day-7.SEVILLE – GRANADA – TORREMOLINOS: Drive through the Sierra Nevada to reach Granada. Start with a guided tour of the Alhambra Palace, one of the most beautiful Moorish Style monuments in Europe. Once a home of the Moorish King of Granada, it remains an art jewel of Spain. Continue to Torremolinos.

Day-8. TORREMOLINOS: Enjoy a relaxing day on the beach at this tourist resort in southern Spain, situated in the foothills of the Sierra Mijas. Enjoy swimming in the Mediterranean Sea or in the swimming pool at your beachside hotel. Walk to the village of Torremolinos for some souvenir shopping. You may take the local transportation to go to Malaga and explore the city and visit the Picasso Museum (optional).

Day-9. MALAGA – DEPARTURE: Transfer to the airport in Malaga for your trip home.

Board your bus for a ride to the Rock of Gibraltar. Gibraltar is a British Overseas Territory. Take the cable car to the top of the Rock, enjoy the view and the friendly monkeys playing around. The British Army is taking very good care of them. The legend goes that when the last monkey is gone Gibraltar goes back to Spain. Visit St. Michael’s Caves and return to the town. Continue to Marbella and Puerto Banus. Both places are playgrounds for World’s rich and famous. Enjoy some great gelato and walk to the marina. In the late afternoon return to Torremolinos.
